The example shown on the chart: A 5 5 person weighs 143 lbs which is normal healthy weight because the height and weight lines cross each other in the BMI 18.5 - 25 range.
An Ideal weight for any person would be right between BMI 18.5 - 25 i.e. a BMI around 21.7. For a 5 5 high person a BMI of 21.7 equals a weight around 130 pounds = ideal weight for 5 5 height.
